Honda Innovation Challenge 1.0

The Honda Innovation Challenge 1.0 is a structured co-development program launched by Honda in partnership with T-Hub to collaborate with startups on real-world mobility solutions. It marks Honda’s first deep-tech startup engagement initiative in India, where selected startups get the opportunity to work directly with Honda’s global strategy, engineering, digital, and service teams.

The program is designed to move beyond theoretical innovation by enabling startups to co-build and pilot solutions within actual operating environments. Unlike traditional accelerators that focus primarily on mentorship or networking, this initiative emphasizes deployment and validation in real-world conditions. Startups are expected to develop and test solutions within a defined 12-week period, ensuring practical applicability and scalability.

The challenge focuses on evolving mobility from conventional vehicles to intelligent, connected systems. It targets innovation areas such as AI-led in-vehicle intelligence, predictive safety systems, and seamless service experiences. Startups working in these domains can leverage Honda’s infrastructure and customer ecosystem to validate their solutions with real users.

For startups, this program fits at the stage where a product has moved beyond ideation and is ready for deployment and validation. It provides a pathway to transition from MVP to real-world implementation, supported by funding, technical mentorship, and access to a large-scale mobility ecosystem.
