About the Program
The IRENA NewGen Renewable Energy Accelerator 2026 is a global, four-month hybrid accelerator program designed to support youth-led startups and innovators working on renewable energy and climate technologies.
Launched by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) with support from the Government of the UAE and in partnership with Social Alpha and Enel Foundation, the program focuses on enabling young entrepreneurs to develop scalable solutions that contribute to the global energy transition .
Unlike traditional accelerators that focus purely on business growth, NewGen combines:
