SpinLab Acceleration Programme – 2027
Offered By - SpinLab
About the Program
SpinLab Accelerator 2027 is designed for innovative, technology-oriented startups with internationally scalable business models, particularly those operating in energy, smart city, digital city, eHealth, and related sectors. The program is open globally and targets startups that have already moved beyond the idea stage and are building prototypes, acquiring users, or generating revenue.
Delivered by SpinLab – The HHL Accelerator in Leipzig, Germany, the program combines in-person focus weeks with online participation, creating a hybrid format accessible to startups worldwide. Unlike many accelerator programs, SpinLab does not take equity, shares, or intellectual property from participating startups, allowing founders to retain full ownership while accessing growth support.
The accelerator focuses on helping startups scale through strategic mentoring, industry connections, investor access, pilot project opportunities, and business development support. Participants gain access to SpinLab’s international network of founders, corporates, investors, and innovation partners, alongside infrastructure such as co-working facilities and technology resources.
The program runs for five months and supports a cohort of approximately 20 startups. In addition to accelerator services, selected startups receive financial support, including a guaranteed grant for participation expenses and opportunities to secure additional funding through various award categories during the program.
From a founder’s perspective, this accelerator is particularly relevant for startups seeking international expansion, corporate partnerships, and investor exposure without giving up equity. It is most valuable for teams that already have a validated product or early market traction and are preparing for growth beyond their home market.
