IDFC FIRST Bank IGNITE Accelerator Programme-2026
Offered By - Pilani Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Society
About the Program
The IDFC FIRST Bank IGNITE Accelerator 2026 is designed for revenue-generating and early-scale Indian startups working in ClimateTech, CleanTech, Sustainability, HealthTech, MedTech, and Digital Health. The program specifically targets ventures that have validated products, market traction, and measurable social or environmental impact.
Implemented by BITS Pilani through the Pilani Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Society (PIEDS), the accelerator aims to help high-potential startups strengthen their business models, scale operations, and expand impact across India. The initiative combines the ecosystem strengths of IDFC FIRST Bank and BITS Pilani to provide structured acceleration support, mentorship, investor readiness assistance, and access to industry networks.
A distinguishing aspect of the program is its emphasis on measurable community outcomes, ESG-linked milestones, and impact measurement frameworks. Selected startups receive grant funding alongside structured support designed to accelerate deployment and growth. The cohort is expected to support 8–10 startups.
From a founder’s perspective, this accelerator is particularly relevant for startups that have already moved beyond the idea stage and can demonstrate traction. It is most useful for founders building impact-focused solutions in climate or healthcare sectors who need both non-dilutive capital and structured scaling support.
